Banning is a manual process and doesn't happen automatically- she probably got wind that she was caught, or the Deviant Art folks notified her of this account's impending doom, so she split.
After all, they wouldn't ban someone who was doing nothing wrong, right? Because you're accusing Deviant Art of banning someone for no good reason. An awful steep thing to say, actually - I'd watch my mouth if I were you. =)
